Sereni ("we", "us", "our") operates this waitlist website (the "Site"). This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you join our waitlist, in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
1. Who we are
Sereni is a holistic wellness booking platform, currently in pre-launch. For the purposes of data protection law, Sereni is the "data controller" of the personal data described in this policy.

2. What data we collect
The only personal data we collect through this Site is:

Your email address — but only if you choose to provide it, by submitting it through our waitlist sign-up form.
We do not collect your name, phone number, location, payment details, or any other personal information through the waitlist form. We do not use cookies or analytics tracking on this Site beyond what is strictly necessary for it to function.
3. How we collect your information
We collect your email address only when you actively type it into the waitlist sign-up form on this Site and click submit. We do not collect this information through any other means (e.g. automatically, via cookies, or from third parties).
4. Why we collect it and our legal basis
We collect and use your email address for the following purposes, on the legal basis of your consent (UK GDPR Article 6):

You give your consent by voluntarily entering your email address and submitting the form. You can withdraw this consent at any time (see Section 6).
We do not use your email for any purpose beyond the above, and we do not sell, rent, or share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
5. How we communicate with you
If you provide your email address, we may use it to send you:

We will not contact you for any other purpose, and we will not pass your email to third parties for their own marketing. Every email we send will include a way to unsubscribe or opt out.
6. Who we share it with
We may share your email address with trusted third-party service providers who help us operate the waitlist, such as:

Our website hosting provider, Wix
These providers act as "data processors" on our behalf and are only permitted to use your data to provide their service to us, under a data processing agreement.
We do not otherwise share, sell, or disclose your email address to any other third party, except where required by law.
7. International transfers
If any of our service providers store data outside the UK (for example, in the US), we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the UK's International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA) or a finding of adequacy, so your data remains protected to UK standards.

9. How long we keep your data
We will keep your email address for as long as you remain on our waitlist or you ask us to delete it. Once we no longer need it for the purpose it was collected, we will delete it securely.
